TELÉFONO El fabricante japonés de Sony según los informes, se está preparando para lanzar el Xperia Mini Z1 esta semana, a handset designed to rival the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini smartphones.
Japanese blog Rbmen caught a glimpse of an advertisement for the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini in a brochure from NTT Docomo. As well as revealing that the handset will make its debut on 10 Octubre, the advert revealed what we can expect from the pint-sized Xperia Z1 variant.
If the advert is correct, the Xperia Z1 Mini will launch later this week in four colours – negro, blanco, pink and lime green – and will feature the same boxy design as the Sony Xperia Z1 handset. It will be a bit chunkier than its flagship predecessor at 9.4mm thick, the listing revealed, but will feature the same quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM under the bonnet.
Much like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the Xperia Z1 Mini reportedly will also feature a 4.3in 1280×720 HD display, complete with Sony’s own Triluminos screen technology that promises better vibrancy and clarity than competitors’ displays.
We also know that the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini will feature 32GB of internal storage and the same IP58 certification as the Xperia Z1, which means it will be resistant against dust and water. The advert didn’t reveal details about the handset’s camera however, although speculation suggests it will have the same 20.7MP sensor as its predecessor.
While the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini is set to arrive in Japan on 10 Octubre, there’s still no word on UK availability, and Sony has not commented on the speculation. m
